Besides exporting data to a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file, you can now export a data selection to an Excel file. An additional benefit is that the data can then be opened directly in a data table.
The database in Excel offers far more options, including a clear visual overview of your data. Another convenient option is that the grand total for the amounts is presented at the bottom of the table.
You can also click the table headers to sort or filter column data in a different way.
That said, the ability to export data to a CSV file is maintained in System One for the sake of compatibility. This is because CSV files can be opened in a wide variety of applications.
